tell me again why a 40 mpg prius is supposed to be so

cause they are so ugly.
There was a commercial on the other day claiming that the Prius has a 60mpg
rating. From what I've heard, they don't even come close to living up to
their ratings, and the batteries are expen$ive to replace, especially since
the warranty doesn't cover them. I think I would buy a TDI VDub if I was in
the market for a newer compact car. For now, it's not an issue since there
are enough Mercedes diesels out there for a while.
