Friend calls me at 6am today - says her car made this horrible "metal-on-metal" noise while on the freeway, a light flashed on the dashboard, then promptly died. She pulled over and called AAA.
About a week ago, she had her oil changed. She has driven her car 3-4 times since. Over the phone, I gave her the bad news about them probably not tightening the drain plug and having the oil leak out. Assuming this is the case (and not some other cause), what's her recourse?
