IIRC, "The Box" was the actual name of a 1970's kit car. It was shaped like a shoe box with a wedge shaped nose, open wheels, four wheel steering via a foot operated handlebar (hydraulic), and hand throttle. I can't remember what powered it. Construction was fiberglass over balsa.
