Vacuum and Volume do not belong in the same sentence. How can you have an amount of nothing?
Max vacuum is 1 atmosphere, period dot. after 32" it come only with sophisticated equipment. The reason you draw a vacuum in an A/C unit is to get rid the the water. You can not pull a deep vacuum if water is present, the water has to evaporate. Vacuum capacity would be the volume you can pull a required vacuum to over a stated period of time.
