You are right. I am sorry, fortunately Dave has fixed it before pushing 
upstream.

I am not sure I understand. I does work when driver from master is loaded by X 
for AIGLX, and for 3D apps you use driver from radeon-rewrite or master?

What apps have you tested? Could you maybe provide us with sysprof reports 
from mesa and radeon-rewrite?
