Hi, I'm also trying to get ROS up on Galileo. It looks like I built it successfully, and can start to run roscore, but it fails.
One thing I have noticed is that roscore ends up crawling all the paths under $ROS_ROOT. Since ROS_ROOT is /usr in the openembedded distro, this takes a very long time. Is there a reason the files are in /usr (they're in /opt/ros on my ubuntu machine) Thanks, -Jon On Monday, December 9, 2013 12:45:29 PM UTC-5, Christoph Schultz wrote: > > Hi Lukas, > > I was not aware of this alternative list, sorry for spamming you here! > > Btw. if you are looking for an embedded x86 platform for test compilation > at next release, just send me a message.
