I apologize for the tone -- it is a result of spending weeks trying to
print from MetaCard, using several different techniques, none of which
worked successfully and all of which were way too much trouble for what
I was trying to do. Printing is my biggest irritation with MetaCard. So
whenever I talk about it, I get frustrated. I guess it shows.

Everything I'm doing in MetaCard is cross-platform. XCMDs won't work for those.
