Are you sure you selected the correct modem from the list ? That
init string is for a Sportster ISDN TA, not for a Zoom modem.

Miami checks the modem's CD status in order to allow you to reconnect
after a reset. This only works if the modem's NV-RAM settings
are correct, i.e. the init string by itself is not enough.
TermiteTCP has no such feature.
