IMHO if you can spend the money, $150.00 or so (US $) and get a
router/hub. it will act as a NAT firewall (network address translator) and
give out IP address to both the PC and Amiga, and you only need one ip
address from your ISP. Its safe and easy and only costs money :-). The
other solutions are fine also, but I think this is the easiest.
I'm doing this and hooking up an amiga/xsurf/miami, linux box, mac and two
PC's with no problems at all.
Also go to www.practicallynetworked.com ( formerly www.timhiggins.com ) lots
of good advice there.
you can also go to www.grc.com and check your network security. Some people
don't like that site or owner however.
