I don't think the amount of electricity to keep a server running will
bankrupt him - even as expensive as electricity is in CA. And who has
checed where the server is anyway?

Considerable expense? Please - we are really talking pennies here -
once a site is up and running it sits on a servers hard drive - you
could drop dead and the web site will still be going - as long as you
paid for the server fee (around $10 a month) for hosting that is about
it.
