The only real downside is that it can't be used to "stack" cars. Its great for suspension work, oil changes, and most jobs shy of dropping an engine. No need to bolt it to the ground and it runs on 110v power so it doesn't require any permanent alterations to the garage. With that said, I plan to add one of these in the near future so I can fit 4 cars in my 3 car garage, thus preventing the sale of my beloved 93 beater Miata:).
