Given available time and the immense "to do" list, that seemed like a good
thing to pay somebody else to take care of. I had an entire garage's worth of
parts, tools and junk to unload, sort through and shelve. When I was ready to
start working on the car the lift was ready- no regrets here. It's definitely
worth asking your favorite shop who did their lift and giving the guy a call.
There are a lot of lifts on the market now due to the economy. This same guy
had a bunch of Rotary 9ks he'd deinstalled when GM close up the Saturn line and
dealers shut their doors, but I was too late to get in on some savings. Right
now there's a lot of similar Rotaries from the Big10 bankruptcy, but the courts
have a lock on them.
