Simon,
If you still have issues using the Admin documents with loan accounts,
please reply with your repro steps and I'll investigate further.

Jeff

Hi Simon,
Unfortunately, administrative documents do not currently appear on the
Savings details page as expected. This is a known issue -
https://mifos.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1977.
Administrative documents associated to Loans should be working for you
however. When you upload the new admin document, please be sure to add
all the appropriate loan states using the Add button on the Upload admin
documents page. To confirm your upload is working, I suggest uploading
a document and adding all loan states as valid to confirm the upload is
working in your environment. The administrative document link(s) should
appear on the loan account details page right below the Collateral
details portion of the loan details page. You may have to scroll down
the page to view the link.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Jeff

Dear Edward,
I am able to create reports and diplay them but am having
challenges in administrative docunents. I create a deposit slip in
BIRT (receipts.rptdesign) and uploaded it in Admin tab, Upload
Administrative Documents. I specified the name, type was savings, i
selected all active account and lastly the file & location of the
rptdesign. When i went to clients & accounts tab, selected a customer
with a savings account, the opened the savings account, i cant see the
administrative doc title nor the document.
What else do i need to do. I have tried also with loans and nothing is
forthcoming.
Thanks in advance, Regards,
Simon Ndungu

all in this report template. Mifos already knows to use the Mifos
production DB as the data source for this type of template. Then, if
this template is uploaded into Mifos (via the "Upload new Admin
document" feature on the "Admin" tab), a link will show up on the loan
account page. When the receipt link is clicked, the system
automatically passes in the account ID of the loan account and generates
a receipt for the account, based on the BIRT template design you have
uploaded. In this manner, one can generate receipts specifically for an
account without having to go to the reports tab. One can also use this
feature to generate other documents specific to an account (vouchers,
passbooks, etc).
