Keith,

Thanks for sharing that link.

Could you install Views Nivo Slider
(http://drupal.org/project/views_nivo_slider) and Views Slideshow
(http://drupal.org/project/views_slideshow)?

I didn't do much research yet but those two jumped out at me at being pretty
robust and easy to use.

The requirements would be to have that space be used primarily for an image and
then a little bit of text overlay.

> After a few months with new mifos.org site, I'm realizing that I need a
> little more real estate on the homepage to have more of a banner that tells
> the story of the mifos community or visually tells more of what happens
> currently.
> My idea for that would be to utilize the "Our Vision" space to have that
> rotate between different banners. I wanted to discuss with you all what
> would be the best method - to have this space simply be the output of a view
> that rotates between certain images on page refresh or to make it a jquery
> banner that rotates while on the site and can be paused etc.
> Add your thoughts in the comments or we can chat offline.
