It's not the newest model, but the W500 is a wonderful laptop. I am using it now. 2.8G core two, 8G ram, one or two disks, Intel em ethernet and iwn wireless, USB 2, ATI Raedon video. Look for them; since they are not new, the price has come down. --STeve Andre'
