Thank you all for the answers. I can say I got the idea of what a terminal was back then. Reading all your posts and searching again on web using the mentioned keywords move away any if not all of my confusions about "terminals". I can see now why our keyboards are using Ctrl key, PgUp, PgDn, or why the serial port is so close programmed using terminal terminology.
