Couldn't agree more. Those are good books. However, back in a day when I was completely fresh to OpenBSD, I preferred to copy/paste someone's working solution, and then discover which config line does what, how, and why. That's because I had no clue about anything. It was valuable to read how people designed solutions to their needs, what combination of software they used etc. Only at the later stage I was able to dive into documentation.
