That is not the right way to do it, but probably didn't hurt too much. amd64 is not an upgrade, you should have done a clean install. > Am I allowed to run a guest like Win98 on host running amd64? I've been running qemu on amd64 for a long time without issues. guests are openbsd (i386 and amd64) and freedos.
