This is not a very good beginning for someone who has just decided to trash FreeBSD. FBSDs disks boot with no problem...
As do properly created OpenBSD boot disks. Give us some details, and maybe we can help you out.Quick first test, though: boot up OS of your choice, look on your CD, what do you see?
