Owen, does it happen in PITS mode as well? If not, then you're likely seeing that bug too. In addition, if you're using multiple sound cards, there are synchronization issues (that sound like xruns but aren't) at lower latencies that I'm currently trying to fix in the fixes_soundcardsync branch.
