I'm not so sure of that. My '88 GTi 16v cruises at 60MPH, turning ~2800-2900 RPM (This with stock tire sizes). This would give my car a top speed of ~140MPH. There aren't any hills in Florida to give me that sort of speed. Wind, on the other hand.......
