As for the 124 MPH top speed- I believe this is drag limited.
I had thought it was rev, because I remember reading that
somewhere, but I hadn't crunched the numbers for myself. I should
have done so before chiming in. Maybe MY tach/speedo is off! (it
reads higher than 3k at 60mph).
