Not to burst anybody's bubble but my Mustang has been more reliable than all 
of my friends Eclipses.  My friend worked for a DSM dealer.  He told me that 
DSM 4 cylinder 16v engines break timing belts so frequently that they have at 
least 2 cars in the shop waiting for the head to be rebuilt.  He also went on 
to say if the car had over 20k miles on it they recommended that the timing 
belt be replaced.  I personally know of a girl that had the timing belt fail 
with only 15k miles on the engine while she was idling at a stop light.  The 
cars are fast I think they are attractive cars but I would never own one 
especially since my friend told me all of the horror stories.
