Yep I have the records and it got recalled at 20K miles -it now has only 58K miles and I am thinking of bringing it in to get replaced again. I bought it off a distant family member -older woman that never beat it. I don't plan to drag it or beat on it just to take it to the T station, back home and nice drives on the weekend. Beatings are coming to my GTI that can take it ;)
