I'm sure you know this, but the valentine 1 site has a lot of info and
tests. http://www.valentine1.com/

of course it is their site and they won't put bad info about themselves on
it, but if it saves you twice (or once if you are going real fast), then it
has paid for itself with the fine and cost in insurance.

i'd buy one but they are illegal in my state (VA) and would hate to get it
confiscated (which they legally can do).

Subject: [a2-16v-list] Laser/Radar Detectors - Take II

I really need to read my emails before hitting the *Send* button. Here is
the grammatically correct version of my previous email.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
---
Anyone have a good 'net resource for learning about laser/radar
detectors?

Any BTDT stories on what to buy, what not to buy? Is the Valentine
One
still the only decent unit? Are there others that are close, but not as
pricey?

Any input is appreciated. I am willing to spend some cash on this
purchase. I know a $40 Wal-mart special is next to useless and a waste of
money.

        Thanks,

        Renard
