Dang - beat me to it and I was looking forward to unloading some of my VW junk,
er, rare and unusual parts on Chad...

Separately - I cleaned out my garage on Sunday after finally doing an R&R on
the Mk4 Jetta wagon for my Dad and then a t-belt and clutch for a friend's Mk4
Jetta Wagon as well.  Those damn Mk4s seem to have coolant lines that run
EVERYWHERE - can't seem to work on those cars without them literally spilling
their guts onto the floor as no drip pan can cover the entire underside of the
car!!

What I found was that I still have 4 complete 16v engines (all except 1 in
various states of disassembly), 6-7 alternators, a spare starter, boat loads of
pulleys, engine mount supports, power steering brackets and at least 2 "engine
shocks" from the 16v.  I also now have a nice boat anchor - a VR6 with a broken
timing chain that was the reason my my Dad's wagon was relatively inexpensive
to purchase.

Now to convince the kiddies on VW Whoretex that this stuff is rare and
valuable.  I have a Westmoreland grille and core support on Whortex with the
notation that it came off my racecar.  Between the fact that it's ultra-rare
AND it came off a real racecar, I'm fairly certain that it'll add at least 50
hp!!
