Haha! My 85 Golf GL was a westmoreland car. One of the first things I did to the car was remove those hideous US Spec square headlights that everyone seems to think are so rare. Little do they know, those square headlights were a half-assed attempt to comply with DOT regulations for importation into the US market. VW used the round headlights on the Golf IIs in Europe which were more consistent with the original overall German design of the car.
Matthew-- where are you selling your items on the Vortex? Is it in the MKII classifieds or the regional classifieds? -Les BTW: I'm still looking for the rain gutter trim for a MKII Golf. There are MKII Jetta group buys on the Vortex importing these from China but nowhere does anyone sell these for the 2Door Golf chassis.
