Hmm, I suppose that happens sometimes. I'm using Vmware myself, but Im gonna try out Virtualbox sometime as it seems quite interesting.
I had a look around launchpad the other time, and it seems some members of MLUG have already been busy at work there. I personally. I wonder a lot about how much sense a localized OS would make (including the Windows XP bil Malti efforts). As Jean stated, most Maltese know more than enough English to be able to use an OS. Perhaps localizaion makes a good selling point in an OS? I would be interested to hear the pros and cons from anybody who was involved in the effort. I suppose, the main difference to make would be between a beginner's distro and the rest. Anybody looking for a specific distro will probably already know it's strengths and weaknesses. Anyone interested in "just trying out linux" would probably have little idea about what a distro is, let alone which suts them best. Perhaps some sort of choice between Beginner and Advanced choices. Beginner would point towards Ubuntu, while Advanced would list all the ISOs available.
