Telkel tried to do Fiber in residential area... 5 years ago. They never really got to anything more then new large appartement/Condo complexes (where you can easier put 1 link to serve the entire building. So unless you live in the right areas, Cable and DSL re-sellers are pretty much your only choice.
For now, I'll pretty happy with EBOX, but I really hope we can get Fiber soon.
