[MMouse]: american beauty

i thought american beauty was good, but i wouldnt consider it to be the best 
movie. even though it is pretty thought provoking, there is still an element 
of shock factor which is pretty popular with indie movies these days. if 
something is out of place or strange, it confuses the viewer and brings out 
thoughts of it being deep or hiding or even revealing some sort of higher 
substance or significance. i guess if you get something out of it, it doesn't 
really matter.
