Bummer. I wish I had a machine to test this code on, but i won't until the end of next week. it's ugly, but you could use Devel::Peek to look at why garbage collection isn't working, maybe there is a circular reference in BerkeleyDB. Ugh. Please keep me informed. -- Aaron
