Possibly, but everything I've seen so far says the 0.31012 branch is 
going to sit there until I setup the windows box and test it.  And 
that's not going to be any time soon.

I already shipped 0.3101 as an urgent minor fix, and 0.31011 as an 
emergency minor win32 fix in the dark, which still doesn't work.  "Just 
change such-and-such" is not a substitute for a set of tested patches.

It looks like the added skip is actually redundant within that 
context -- where the prior skip count didn't get adjusted.

But I'm just the shipping department.
