Should be good, Quentin and Julf, sump only holds less than 5lts inc filter.

I calculate it will hold 11.6 litres – so you’ll get 9.9 in, however the level 
will be only a fraction below 1cm below the rim, but it will be quite a job to 
lift it away without any slopping over the side.

I'm looking for a suitably shallow pan for draining the sump on my 4/4. Found 
one on Amazon, quoted dimensions are 460mm x 360mm x 70mm deep. Allowing for 
10mm (at least) below the top, am I right in calculating this will hold 9.9lts?
