'Adulterate with modernity', I like that phrase :-)

So here's a thing: when MMC built my Mog, they didn't bother to paint it 
properly, with the result that the wings rusted so badly they needed replacing 
after 17 years and 60k miles - including the inner wing valances. I got new 
wings from the factory, updating to stainless inner wings, and I made sure the 
wings were painted properly before assembly.

Sensible improvement, or non-standard adulteration?
