Sorry to hear about your rad Andrew. I can't answer your question but can
offer an alternative line of thought.

My mog radiator started leaking around the top hose connection. Took it to
ReadyRads in Birmingham on a Tuesday and picked it up on Thursday. They
resoldered the joint, put a strengthening collar around it, flushed the rad,
pressure tested it then resprayed the whole thing black. Cost was £27 inc
VAT in Aug 2010.

As these radiators are soldered they can be reduced to their component parts
and put back together - there's nothing that can't be fixed or replaced on
them including the core. I'll bet there's a ReadyRads equivalent not far
from you and it might be worth asking for a price - I'll bet it's a lot less
than the cost of a new rad.................

You could be back on the road in a week or so. Best of luck.

Subject: [mogtalk2] Morgan spares

I'm new to mogtalk and after twelve months, still getting the hang of Morgan
cars. My 05 +4 has sprung a leak and needs a new radiator. This expense very
unwelcome but the really bad thing is that after nearly nine weeks off the
road, the factory is still unable to give an availability date. What
experience do you mog-talkers have with supply of relatively recent parts?
