Dear Mike,
It all makes work for the working man to do. That is, if you can find one.

With Arnold Clark ( the big Scottish car dealer) reckon that most young Scots are totally unsuited to work - of over 2000 who applied for apprenticeships, more than 1800 were rejected because they couldn't get their miserable heads around the meaning of "a day's work". Getting up in the morning and doing something isn't what they had in mind.

Cheers,
Owen.

Where have we come to ?? If the lights and the brakes work what does anything else matter ? If I can drive an eight litre straight six on the roads doing 6 mpg with emissions which would shame China how can any modern car not be allowed an MOT ?....the world truly is going beyond the pale :(

Colin

I have been told that +8s were always very close to the emissions limit. Apparently even a small leak around a join will make a difference. This can even be downstream of the sensor - I wouldn't have believed it until I once gripped around both ends of my silencer joins with welding gloves to get it to pass!
