Well, we are almost from SoCal here in Lake Havasu. Actually about 3 miles east of SoCal! :-) I don't know of any organized Monty specific events, but a number of us hook up occasionally with the Socal Potters group to argue over who has the best boats. (ok, ok we don't actually argue! just get together and have a great time.) We are taking Dauntless over to join them in their Anacapa Island sail out of Channel Islands Harbor in two weeks. I believe that Norm Bundeck is also going to try to make it with his M15. We had a great time last year. Fu Shing Pan also brings his Mboat and joins the group very regularly. Every month the group sails out of another Socal venue. Here's a link to our webpage from last years trip.
