Hello All...
I just finalized the purchase of 1977 M17 Chica Buena here in San Diego and
have begun minor upgrades to get her dialed in and sail ready for Summer.
For a 1977 she is in great shape after having been purchased from Bob Eeg by
the prior owner in 2004. I understand Bob did quite a bit to her before she
was purchased, so she has "good bones" and the work needing to be done is
mostly cosmetic.
I have been reviewing the list for several months in preparation and must
say that you all are terrific with the information shared. I am trusting
that perhaps I can make a bit of a contribution as well. I am a bit of a
compulsive nut and plan many upgrades.
I would really enjoy connecting with all of you, but am particularly
interested to learn of the Southern California M17 and M15 owners and wonder
if there are any rallys or gatherings that may be planned or in planning
stages?
There is another fabulous M17 here in San Diego's Mission Bay and I am
looking forward also to finding out who owns that boat...she is really nice.
