I think I remember your daughter is a teen. I have a 15 year old son and a 13 year old son, and I have been trying to get either of them to read just ONE Heinlein, but of course, since I want them to do it, they refuse! But I got my 15 year old to finally read 1984, and he loved it, so maybe there is hope.
For me, THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS is Heinlein's very best, followed by METHUSELAH'S CHILDREN (although it is close between the top ten!). I also really liked his "juveniles", even if they ARE a tad juvenile and I should try to get my sons on one of those first.
