The only time I've ever seen the image is in the Borst GRAVEN IMAGES
book. The image is similar to a lot of the print ads that came out for
the film, and for this Fifties monster kid, the "Wow!" factor is off the
charts (unfortunately, so is the "heart attack" factor when I saw the
price tag an hour before this gem hit the finish line. How will it
end?!?). Never seen the press book for this film, so I don't know if
this image was included. Anyone? I have have been collecting for 45
years and have never actually held one of these in my grubby hands.
Definitely beats the crap out of the disappointing U.S, paper. It's
kinda like the INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS "spotlight dance" B style
half sheet; a much cooler but rarely-seen version of a classic title.
Its insane scarcity would account for the high price tag; warranted, in
this case. I dropped out of the running at around a grand; I knew it was
gonna get too rich for this middle-class boy's blood, and, boy, was I
right.....

Never seen this image before, Jeff. Really. In 35+ years of
collecting, I never seen this image. (I know: everyone else has seen
it 1000s of times and I'm out to lunch). Wonder if this poster is
displayed in the pressbook. Anyone?
And I it has plenty of WOW Factor, imho. UBER-high priced, though.
Here's your link using Tiny Url:

I think that will work a little better.
Thanks for sharing! Good luck if you bid.

hi fellow mopo'ers,
i just saw this item on ebay... does this price seem right for this
poster? it caught my eye as the photography and general layout of the
imagery look just OK, in my opinion. the poster also lacks any real
color or WOW factor.
again, asking this, as uninformed with regard to this poster for this
title.
thanks, and look forward to any thoughts here on the forum.
