We must have a lot of conspiracy theorists here.
This seller did indeed sell a lesser example of this very rare and desirable poster for $4000 - I know as a good friend was the purchaser. This auction was for a much nicer example and resulted in an even stronger price from a known bidder whom I am sure has purchased from many dealers here. So what is the problem? _____ From: MoPo List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jeff Potokar Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2008 12:39 AM To: MoPo-L@LISTSERV.AMERICAN.EDU Subject: Re: [MOPO] 20 Million Miles to Earth poster i agree pg..something aint right....but..you never know....lol..and coming from cyprus, i believe??...maybe it was printed on papyrus. jeff On Sep 2, 2008, at 7:39 PM, pj angel wrote: Greetings again, my friends, Item ended at $6255.00. (I know: everyone else has seen it 1000s of times and I'm out to lunch). Wonder if this poster is displayed in the pressbook. Anyone? And I it has plenty of WOW Factor, imho. UBER-high priced, though. Here's your link using Tiny Url: http://tinyurl.com/20million I think that will work a little better. Thanks for sharing! Good luck if you bid. pj Jeff Potokar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: hi fellow mopo'ers, i just saw this item on ebay... does this price seem right for this poster? it caught my eye as the photography and general layout of the imagery look just OK, in my opinion. the poster also lacks any real color or WOW factor. again, asking this, as uninformed with regard to this poster for this title. thanks, and look forward to any thoughts here on the forum. jeff http://cgi.ebay.com/20-Million-Miles-to-Earth-Authentic-Poster-100- MBG- NR_W0QQitemZ270269515339QQihZ017QQcategoryZ60331QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com <http://www.filmfan.com/> ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
