We thought it was faded too.......and we strongly suggest that it is.

we have sold about 7 or 8 of these within the past few years and this one
is definitely the lightest one we have had.......HOWEVER.....another
DEALER/LINEN BACKER consigned it to us and he told us he thought there were 2
or
more printings.........so this is our description:

This Saul Bass designed poster is highly prized by collectors. Almost
impossible to find nowadays. This particular one sheet has several defects
that
can still be seen even though it has been restored and linen backed. In
the white border there are 3 missing pieces/chips about 1" square that have
been restored/replaced. There are several noticeable wrinkles and large
tears. This one is a lighter orange color than the others we have sold over
the
years. This is either due to the fact that its red color has faded to
orange, or it was actually printed that color (some have told us there were
two
printings of this one sheet and one is much more red than the other). We
can't confirm if this is true or not (probably not). This poster looks far
from perfect but it is still very presentable. For the Hitchcock buyer on a
budget!

This is not at all misleading. It strongly suggests that it is faded.

and I don't read rick ryan's posts as I blocked him a long time ago so I
don't get them on mopo. Too much for sale spam of garbage posters. And also
because he is buddies with greg egbert and stuck up for him when me and
others were telling about our horrifying experiences with him. And also
because rick ryan likes to sell egberts fake Friday the 13th rolled 27x40 one
sheets as original.

and michael said "it speaks volumes that no one has made an offer"

um......no it doesn't. We have hundreds of best offer listings on ebay
where no one has made an offer. I guess you don't realize how fixed price
listings work on ebay. We have only had this vertigo 1sh listed for about a
week......it costs us 35 cents a month to list it.........and we can put a
best offer option on it for free. Sometimes people make offers....sometimes
they don't. The bottom line is that the cost for us to keep it listed
indefinitely on ebay is negligible.
