A scathing review on  National Public Radio contrasted the previous and the
current "Titans" releases. The big change seems to be the removal of most of
the "literary" dialogue by those boring talking heads like Lord Laurence
Olivier and Dame Maggie Smith, in favor of yet more and more extended
battle-of-the-monster(s) footage.

It's stupid of them to drop the florid dialogue though.  After all, "more-talk"
fuels "more-trips" to the concession counter for 15-buck popcorn!!!  We must
help our theatre-owners make a couple of bucks!

That reviewer also said that removing the glasses made no difference in viewing
"Titans" and was actually easier on the eyes (if not the ears or the mind!)

Perhaps the Less-Talk-More-Mayhem Movement will lead to a true turn-around in
movie history by 1927----- when Warner's releases the new "no-talk-all-blowups"
motion picture sensation, "The Jazz Killer."

What a century!

Let's just hope they get the Old-Fogie Original '50s 3-D Film Festival Tour off
the ground before the 3D-Fad goes back in the closet for another half-century!
I surely do want to see "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "Sangaree" in 3-D
again!
(And that last sentence is NOT meant to be sarcastic!  )

Happy Easter, etc., all.

This tuck me as the ultimate lack of creativity. The original Clash Of The
Titans was awful and to remake it was ridiculous and to remake it in crappy 3-D
was even more absurd. FRANC

I saw Clash of the Titans last night because my eldest son wanted to, and the
movie itself blows (no big surprise there) but the 3D also blows. I could have
been wearing some "X-Ray Specs" for all the difference the supposed 3D made. I
took off the glasses on and off (I was really bored) and there was next to no
difference watching with them or without them.

3-D should have many images that come off the screen and at the viewer, and
this movie had zero such scenes. They better quit this conversion crap in a
hurry, or 3D won't last as long as it did in 1953 and 1954.
