As a dealer, I would like to see new people attracted to the hobby as much as
anybody.
And I would hate to be tagged as "resistant to change." But, frankly, I just
don't see this as
the ticket to new blood.

If slabbed lobby cards become commonplace, then MovieArt won't shun them
necessarily,
and I'm certainly willing to be proven wrong.

And no offense to anyone whose opinion is on the other side of the issue.

But frankly without some sort of certification across the hobby (slabbed three
sheets, anyone?),
what are we gaining?

Comics are different - they're uniform mostly - they lend themselves to
slabbing more rationally.

I think a lot of current collectors, and I'm sure a many dealers will consider
this unwanted or
at best unnecessary.
