As well as work often being misattributed to Bass, his collaborators like Art Goodman and Dave Nagata are almost always overlooked.
To me, this has the look of Art Goodman.
Or possibly Art Bad Man.

Was Saul Bass the artist on this poster? If it's not Bass, it's certainly someone who evokes the haunting minimalist beauty of his work.
Stunning poster.

Talk about rare posters: While I don't care much for Finnish
posters in general, this PLANET OF THE APES is the only copy I
   have ever seen:

Btw, if anybody has the original Turkish, Mexican or any other
REALLY obscure poster for the first POTA movie, I would be interested.

   Cheers,

   Helmut

And there you have it - the world's greatest poster expert
stating proof positive that Finnish posters are the cat's meow,
rare as hen's teeth and that owning one is akin to hitting the
   lottery.
Sorry you weren't able to get a Finnish Gilda for your auction
Bruce, I too can only imagine the dizzying heights such a rarity
would bring (if one is even known to exist - at a minimum it is
ten times rarer than any US poster on the title.)
But like the song says - You can't always get what you want...
And if anyone has a Finnish Godzilla poster for the first movie
(or even second or third), I am a ready, willing, and able buyer.
