David, as you likely know, I have sold to over 34,000 collectors. Most of
those are some of the nicest people I could ever hope to meet (a lot of
them are right here on MoPo!), but there are a few others who fly off the
handle easily, but they usually calm down and apologize afterwards, and I
always let bygones be bygones in such circumstances.

But I can honestly say that there are only a handful of completely
off-the-wall people who exhibit bizarre behavior. An example is the fellow
who yelled an obscenity at one of my employees, and then when she hung up
on him (as I have instructed my employees to do, because I am not paying
them to endure abuse!) he went online to four forums and started threads
entitled "I've placed my last order from eMoviePoster.com"!

I then blocked him (in case he accidentally bid, which would have surely
caused him anguish), and that infuriated him even more. After some back and
forth posting (in which I showed him that he was wrong in what he thought
had happened), he apologized and I forgave him, and he is free to buy from
us anytime he wants.

There are others I have had disputes with, and in every case I have waited
a while and once they have quit their feuding, I send them an email
offering to start over, and in every case this has been accepted, and in
some cases I have gone on to do huge amounts of business with those people!
So I think it is true that I have a very forgiving nature.

I once had a good friend who tried to intercede with a friend of his who
hated me in a pathological way. My friend asked me to go with him to that
person and try to "clear the air", but that person reacted in a way that
greatly scared me, and I have never communicated with him in any way since
that time. I imagine that is a situation that will never change, and i can
accept that.

I can honestly only think of only one other person who is currently blocked
for any reason other than non-payment, and that person is so obsessed with
me and my company that I can't imagine that he would ever change his
attitude and I apologize, but if he did I would forgive him as well.

My life really is too short for feuds. Some people seem to seek them out,
and that's their right to do, but it is not for me!
