I happened to notice this poster recently auctioned at Heritage:

*
They describe it this way:
"Although this one sheet is dated 1955 in the copyright, this is a
misprinted second printing of the film's original 1953 release."

I have never heard this before, and I wonder why, if they were simply
reprinting the poster, they would change the copyright date? How and why
would they be changing the copyright date in the first place (which
involves changing the actual film or printing plates)?

And how does this explain the changed colors on this "misprinted second
printing" (which were not even mentioned)?

If this IS correct information, can someone show me the proof of it, so I
can email our past buyers of this poster and change the records in our
Auction History?

And please, no replies from trolls.
