Hi,

Our district is considering Rigby's Literacy By
Design. It definitely uses the Mosaic language, but
I'd like to hear from some of you who actually use it.
I understand that it is the teacher, not the
materials that are important when teaching
comprehension, but it would still be nice to hear some
first hand accounts of strengths/weaknesses. It looks
to me that the main strength is the amount of
nonfiction text (about 50%) and the number of guided
reading books. The rest of it looks pretty generic.
What am I missing?
thanks in advance,
Lisa
