Just my thoughts... I agree in the sense that all teachers should be action researchers and solving their own classroom issues through action or teacher research. I disagree in the sense that many are not collecting their own data and analyzing it, and that the "research world" doesn't accept our action research as valid or reliable. As an active action researcher/teacher I know that my findings mean something to me and have sustained and improved my instruction even if it is not generalizable to other situations.
