U could bring in a basket of books about famous artists and introduce them to
the students. Maybe implement a unit lesson/drawing lesson on famous artists
and their paintings while including reading, writing, and vocabulary.

I am a huge advocate for incorporating art in the classroom as much as
possible. I don't feel that students have enough exposure to the arts.
...Art is my passion..How can you bring art and literacy together??

Thanks
